A snow update you want to hear

Snow fall in Italy, France and Switzerland has reached record highs this winter. It is raining and snowing in the southern Alps.  Zermatt, Cervinia and val d’Aosta are still experiencing high snow fall. We are also getting rain, but rain is actually a good thing with this much snow as it causes the mountain to purge the huge quantities of built up snow in spontaneous avalanches. This means that the dangerous excess snow is coming down naturally, leaving safe skiing conditions for the rest of the season.

All in all, this is almost the perfect recipe for the best season ever. How do we know this? We sat down for a tea with our Snow Doctor Robert on Sunday evening to get all the latest statistics, of course. He predicts that we will have great skiing all the way until June this year.
