Details - The Italian Trip.

  • Day 1 and 2

Begin in Gressoney at the foot of the mighty Monte Rosa. This mountain massif in the Pennine Alps borders the Italian region of Piedmont, the Aosta Valley and the Swiss canton of Valais. You’ll see the Matterhorn and some of the other 19 peaks over 4000 meters in this area: here you are among impressive company. You’ll ski in the shadow of the Dufourspitze, the highest peak of the Monte Rosa massif and, at 4,634 meters, it is also the highest peak in Switzerland.

  • Day 3, 4 & 5

Continue by heli and ski to Valgrisenche, an unspoilt side valley which connects the Aosta Valley with a magnificent chain of mountains. Here we are in the centre of the Alps with 20 drop off points between 3200m and 3500m and a choice of over 100 different descents with verticals drops of between 1500m and 2100m. This is the crème de la crème of heli ski arenas. And what’s even better, the micro-climate here creates perfect snow conditions with huge open descents.

The trip ends in Courmayeur under the shadow of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in western Europe. This is one of our favourite ski areas, and our heli-skiing takes place in one of the less visited areas of the Mont Blanc massif, ending with a beautiful 15km descent crowned by spectacular summits.
